Over 25 years of experience encompassing an engineering and construction portfolio of hydro generation and dam safety projects totaling over 4,000 MW of installed capacity and several billion dollars in direct construction costs. Extensive experience in the rehabilitation of hydropower and water resource facilities, including turbines and generators, governors, spillways and power/water conveyances, valves, cranes & hoists, and other powerhouse heavy equipment & ancillaries. Several years of varying experience within owner/utility environments including operations and asset management/maintenance support for hydro facilities, planning and coordination of generation and dam safety projects, condition assessment and asset planning of equipment and structures, and project business case development. Completed overall facility designs, developed cost estimates, performed risk analysis, developed tenders and specifications, performed bid evaluations, and negotiated and administered contracts ranging from equipment supply & installation to EPC contracts for entire dam and hydro generation facilities. Strong dam safety background: inspection, condition assessment, and testing of dam safety-related equipment (spillway gates and hoists, generation equipment, penstock shutoff devices, etc.); review of equipment, design, performance, operability, and overall suitability for flood routing conditions, etc.
