Program Coordinator:
• Serves as primary relationship manager with downstream partners in the SAGE portfolio, overseeing the implementation of an integrated safe spaces model across the district.
• Monitor implementation of program elements across the district paying attention to timeliness, quality, and effectiveness
• Support partner in developing program implementation plans and budget; provide feedback and analysis on quarterly plans
• Ensure timely reporting and review monthly reports for timely delivery, effective practice, understanding challenges and identifying areas of support needed by the partner
• Conduct quarterly support visits to understand context, partner strengths and challenges, programming quality, and alignment to initiative goals.
• Provide expertise and team leadership in the management of the Life Skills and Mentors component of the SAGE initiative, with responsibility for identifying the modules from the National Life Skills Manual and the mentors training.
• Develop a strategic approach to Life skills program with a focus having positive impact and an improvement in the lives of the mentors and the girls through the delivery of lessons.
• Facilitate the development of a guidance on implementation of Life Skills ad Mentors training.
• Liaise with Partner Safeguarding Focal Persons to undertake safeguarding assessment and maintain all safeguarding procedures and standards at the safe spaces.
• Work with Purposeful and Partner Safeguarding Focal Persons to provide Safeguarding training to field officer and mentors supporting the SAGE Program.
• Ensure that safeguarding policy and procedures are followed on all activities that include girls.
