Mrs. Medzeme Engama Marie Joseph has over 16 years of experience in agricultural and rural development. She is an expert in the development of Agro-sylvo-pastoral and fisheries value chains. Specialist in various domains: Rural development; Project management, monitoring and evaluation; Gender equality; Climate change issues, Analysis and agricultural risk management. A good experience in agricultural policies analyses and assessment; - socio-economic environment as well as structuring and support to agricultural Farmers ‘Organizations, framework for consultancies and advocacy. A strong experience and better field work knowledge where she conducted several activities: animations, training, capacity building, groups coaching. Since 2017, she is the Director of Programs and Cooperation at PROPAC (Regional platform and Peasant organizations in Central Africa) and Regional coordinator of Projects, after being Project manager for the development of agricultural value chains at PROPAC (2013 – 2017) combined with its position as Executive Secretary of the CNOP-CAM (National Consultation Forum for Farmer’s Organizations in Cameroon) 2009-2017. Prior to this, she was Director of the Rural Center for Technical support for self-development (CRATAD) of the Archdiocese of Yaounde from 2004 to 2007, in charge of programs and projects in AWA (African Women’s Association) from 2008 to 2009; Commercial cell manager at the New Technology Corporation Network (1999-2001). She is also the founder and the president of the Association of Young and Women Development Actors in Cameroon (AYWAD).

While performing her duties and as an independent consultant, Mrs. MEDZEME facilitated several meetings, workshops, conferences, consultations frameworks and consortia at both national and regional level. She coordinated and managed several development projects related to agriculture and rural development; food and nutritional security with the support of technical and financial partners (World Bank, IFAD, European Union, FAO, CTA etc.). She carried out several studies and consultancies in her field of expertise. This provides her with a good understanding and mastery over donors and partners’ procedures as well as a good mastery of partnership management and cooperation with international organizations and government institutions.
