About
Economist with over 20-year experience in research and analysis, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of macroeconomic policies, public policies and international development programs and projects. I have worked for several international organizations and donors asn project manager and evaluator including USAID, MCC, US State Department, US Department of Labor, IDB, and European Union. Possess hands-on experience in design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of development progrmas and projectd, including methodologies for experimental and quasi-experimental impact evaluations. Subject matters of work have focused on public financial management (PFM and PEFA), development of MSEs/SMEs, trade and investment, business and customs enabling environment, rural development, private sector development, education, child labor, crime and violence prevention log frame, children and youth at-risk, gender equity and GBV, statistics, econometrics, survey design/sampling and implementation, data collection, training and institutional strengthening.
I possess field work experience in leading design, coordination, supervision and implementation of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodologies research and evaluations to inform decision making -adaptive amnagement- and project design. Those include data collection, management, quality,analysis and reporting of surveys (baseline, mid-term and end line), matching, propensity score matching, difference in differences, econometric modeling, cost-benefit analysis, opportunity cost, economic rate of return, focus groups, KIIs, process analysis, and case studies. I have extensive experience working with private sector and CSOs and have created interagency and public–private working teams and alliances focused on delivering cost-effective and timely results. I possess relevant experience leading large and complex projects, programs and organizations with up to 300+ employees. I have international work experience in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Belize, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Ecuador, Paraguay, Liberia, Burkina Faso, and Macedonia.
