Energy sector expert with over 20 years as a Consultant/Team Leader covering:

• Energy/power sector policy and regulation. Played a key role in developing the current energy sector policy and regulatory framework in Zambia;
• Feasibility studies, planning, design and construction supervision of electrical/mechanical systems in various sectors, power generation, transmission and distribution systems development, renewable energy and rural/urban electrification;
• Monitoring and evaluation of power infrastructure projects;
• Research/studies in rural electrification and power sector reforms;
• Energy efficiency and conservation in plant and buildings;
• Dialogue with high-level decision makers in various sectors;
• Donor financed projects including European Union, World Bank, AfDB etc; and
• Capacity building including needs assessments, training and as facilitator and rapporteur of several national/regional workshops and forums related to energy policy, energy efficiency, electricity supply and environmental aspects.
