Esther is a resourceful and self-driven Public Health Nutrition consultant with nearly 20 years’ experience in 9 countries, managing and giving technical support to emergency and development Health and Nutrition programs. Her experience includes program management; Community based Nutrition interventions addressing chronic and acute malnutrition (CMAM), Micronutrient supplementation, HIV/ AIDs and gender mainstreaming, behavior change interventions like Positive Deviance Hearth, Maternal infant young child nutrition such as 1000 days programs, in addition to working with a wide range of partners, including governments through Health systems strengthening and capacity building of Ministry of Health (MoH) clinical and health extension workers as well as being actively involved in national level coordination and nutrition policy matters. She is also competent in applying participatory qualitative and quantitative data collection methods in health and nutrition assessments, research, household health and nutrition surveys and program evaluations; having participated in developing program strategies, and worked as a technical adviser, program manager, external lead consultant as well as an associate consultant in projects funded by various donors such as ECHO, USAID (DFID/ PEPFAR), WFP and UNICEF.
