Senior Energy, Renewable Energy and Power Engineer with creativity, integrity and strong visionary leadership qualities including:

• Over 40 years of experience in Power Engineering, Generation, Transmission, Renewable Energy Sources, Energy Efficiency, power system policy and strategies, power system planning, power system economics, power system restructuring and electricity markets, power system operation and analysis.
• Ability to train, lead and motivate multi-cultural teams.
• Experience in leading teams supervising very large power transmission projects, involving construction / extension / rehabilitation of HV Substations and OHTL.
• Experience in leading teams on Europe aid AIDCO contract implemented in a country eligible under Art. 19 of IPA Regulation; Sound knowledge of EU Practical Guide procedures
•  Experience in supervising large power transmission contracts financed by IFIs
• Working experience within highly complex organizational structures / implementation arrangements, coordinating several inter-related contracts / project components and a large number of stakeholders
• A leader with excellent interpersonal and analytical abilities
• National, international and corporate workplace experience.
•  Liaison with professionals, academic and government institutions.
•  Ability to identify, conceptualize, plan and monitor major projects.
•  Supervision, project management and budget administration of large projects.
•  Significant research and technical publications in internationally referred journals and conferences.
•  Ability to work effectively as a member of cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary organizations.
•  Ability to operate with confidence and authority at a senior level with well-developed communication skills both personally and in writing.
• Design and supervision of construction of power substations, overhead transmission lines and distribution systems
• Revision of technical specifications; Preparation of tender documents and evaluation of tenders and assistance in awarding of contract
• Checking and attestation of contractor’s invoices

• Training of engineers and operators, know-how transfer to local experts
