About

With extensive experience in digital media, content creation, and production, I am a communication expert. My career began in journalism, working with respected names such as CGTN-Africa, Universal Media Ltd., Ogilvy & Mather, M-group, and iris worldwide. Presently, I serve as the Digital Communications Key Expert for the European Union Delegations in Somalia and South Sudan.

In this capacity, I am responsible for producing digital content that supports the European Union External Action Service activities across both delegations. I write articles highlighting the accomplishments and objectives of our work in Somalia and South Sudan. As the lead communications advisor for launch projects like the €72M maritime security support to Somalia handover, I work with partners such as The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), European Union Capacity Building Mission to Somalia (EUCAPSOM), and The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNDOC).

In Sudan, I spearheaded the rollout of the € 208M EU Multi-Annual Indicative Programme for South Sudan, and my efforts were recognized by the Head of Delegation as best practice while rolling out complex communications material. I have also led production for content across Africa, like the $300,000 production budget for "Tribes in a flux" - a project undertaken in Botswana, Kenya, and Morocco. Additionally, I was the creative force behind the first Livestream "Digital Safari" - a $250,000 production undertaken in Kenya and South Africa for CGTN Africa, which won the special coverage award two years in a row.

My passion lies in telling human stories using my vast digital media experience, creative flair, and love for technology.
