Key Qualifications • Market Analysis / Strategy Development for integrated rural development programmes in the Tropics (income generation) • Private sector development (mainly SME) on micro level • Regional and local economic development concepts (LED) • Institutional building for professional and advisory bodies in transiting and emerging economies • International technical development co-operation • More than 20 years international work experience, from that seven years in the Philippines (short- and longterm missions). • Experiences with the development of programmatic strategies aiming to strengthen the provincial-, municipal- and village performance in the delivery of basic services and the widening of access to sources of national and international funds for developmental undertakings. • Participatory regional development planning on provincial-, municipal- and village level. • Participatory monitoring and evaluation of rural development projects, funded by local and international donors. • Fluent in English, very basic knowledge in Tagalog, Bahasa • Countries of professional work experience: Philippines, Cambodia, China, India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Tanzania, Namibia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan
