An expert with 31 years of great experience on electricity markets, with high-level knowledge of regulation and policy pertaining to renewable energy and lighting expansion, as well as energy efficiency. Proven experience in:

Analysis of and evaluation of energy policies and regulatory framework

over 15 years of experience in working the development of energy efficiency projects and off-grid mini-grid projects with Renewable energy

Over 20 years of experience in the energy sector as well as design, development, planning and building of off-grid RE technologies and IPP investment projects

Experience in technical design of transmission infrastructures

Experience in developing national and regional plans for energy access, off-grid renewable energy and energy efficiency and masterplan 

Experience in  managing integration of off-grid renewable energy generation into exixting power systems

Over 15 years of professional experience in electricity sector management, supervision and planning, preparation of IPP renewable energy investments

Experience in project implementation procedures of various financing agenicies and/or donors such as the World Bank, EU, EIB, AfDB and GIZ amongs others

I hold a Ph.D and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering both from The University of Johannesburg, a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering and a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from the Higher Institute of Applied Technology in Kinshasa. I am fluent in both English and French.
