Mr. Carbajosa possesses extensive knowledge of EU legislation concerning Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Systems and has over a decade of executive experience in managing Spain's largest Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and Batteries. Currently, the expert is an independent consultant specializing in projects related to international waste management, environment, climate change, and circular economy across several regions including Africa (Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Rwanda, Senegal) and the Middle East (Jordan).

During his career, Mr. Carbajosa has collaborated with various international funding organizations, gaining over 6 years of experience as a consultant focused on EU compliance with the European WEEE Directive. His leadership roles include serving as the CEO of one of Spain’s most significant PROs, a position he held for a decade. He has also contributed to developing new quality standards for WEEE recycling processes as part of the LIFE+ WEEELABEX project.

The expert's technical expertise is demonstrated through the preparation of analytical reports in English, benefiting UN and GIZ projects, as well as contributing to the drafting of comparative legal reports between local and EU legislation. Furthermore, Mr. Carbajosa has experience in implementing WEEE Directive into Spanish legislation and providing strategic advice to producers and distributors on regulatory compliance.

Notable achievements include enhancing Spain's compliance with new WEEE Directives, founding and directing Fundación Ecolec, and driving international cooperation projects in waste management. His technical skills are complemented by proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems, alongside multilingual communication abilities in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Danish.
