Key qualifications:

Master’s degree in demography, also ongoing PhD programme, including development studies, economic-social demography, demographic analysis, with experience of 15 years.

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics,

Experience in quantitative data analysis and report writing,

Knowledge and understanding on qualitative surveys gained by the PhD syllabus,

Specific interest in social survey methodologies,

Monitoring and reporting skills,

Contribution to evaluation reports;

Experience in field coordination of regional parts of national social surveys and censuses (including subtitles like household composition, demographic characteristics, migration, economic activity and employment, income and living conditions (EU-SILC), education, health, tourism etc.)

Knowledge and experience in CSPro, SPSS and SAS.

Academic and professional interest in population projections and demographic analysis,

Contribution to all quantitative data collection and analysis stages of various sample surveys, population censuses and administrative registers.

Experience in demographic software packages such as UN-MORTPAK, SPECTRUM-DemProj, PADIS-Int, PoFoS, EXCEL (All of those packages have been used for academic thesis, institutional studies etc.)

Experience as team leader (field coordination, training etc.) in regional office of TurkStat, with multi-cultural environment,

Interest and experience in analysis of fertility, migration, mortality (life tables),

Interest in regional and spatial analysis.

Strong experience on representing country/institution at regional, national and international level.

Training and supervision skills.
