An Agricultural Economist with vast professional experience on food security which is an integral part and condition for nutrition. I am experienced in working with stakeholders in food sub-sector of agriculture including governments at various levels, donor agencies and agribusiness enterprises to boost food production. I have participated in various programmes aimed at transforming food systems in order to deliver more nutritious food for all people at all time in right quantity and quality. My research works and experience have supported GAIN’s mission to advance nutrition outcomes by improving consumption of nutritious and safe food for all people, especially the most vulnerable to malnutrition in the populace. Experienced in conducting survey-based research (qualitative and quantitative) on agriculture, development and food security through data collection, analysis, interpretation and reports writing for policy making. Good knowledge of data analysis and statistical software packages such as STATA, E-View and SPSS to provide guidance for stakeholders in policy formulation and decision making. Proficient in writing proposal and technical reports for projects and programmes with good understanding of donor funding and procurement guidelines. Experienced in implementation and management of large and complex projects.
