Eduardo Pérez y Pérez is a Climate Risk and Vulnerability (CRVA) expert, with proven capacities in understanding and quantifying environmental impacts, and mainstreaming multi-hazard and climate adaptation approaches into risk management. He is a senior expert in environmental consulting with an outstanding track record in Natural Hazards and Climate Risk Assessments, including leading teams and providing expertise as a key and non-key expert.

He has a deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative risk assessment approaches, at multiple scales, ranging from the community assessments of heat islands and natural risks in South-American cities, to the support and development of national policies and analytical frameworks inBurundi, Chile, Indonesia and Paraguay. He is well versed on the internal procedures and reporting mechanisms of the European Union (EU) agencies, the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), the World Bank Group (WBG) - the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR), the International Organization of Migration (IOM), and C40.
