Over 14 years of professional experience in sustainable and innovative technology and resource management in the tropics and subtropics, architecture, urbanism, planning and implementation of industrial factory buildings and logistic/distribution centers, renewable energy and energy efficiency promotion, climate-proofing, thermo-technical rehabilitation, urban and regional infrastructure development, alternative building material supply schemes, advertising of economic development, self-help programs, urban risk management, sites, and services development.

In-depth knowledge of urban and industrial architecture and engineering; urban planning & development; renewable energy management focuses on renewable energy systems and energy efficiency and their potentials for tropical and subtropical societies; social and management aspects in urban infrastructural development, specifically in operation & maintenance (O&M); climate change mitigation & adaptation; management systems for social infrastructure and decentralized urbanization schemes; practical experience including the development of commercial infrastructure (especially markets) and other social infrastructure components, real estate development, slum upgrading, low-cost housing, sites and services; specific experiences in planning, monitoring and evaluation (PM&E) of development projects; technical appraisal and design of infrastructure development projects; preparation and execution of development studies like Medium Term Development Plans (MTDPs); supervision of the construction of comprehensive, large-scale urban infrastructure schemes.

Activities included the elaboration of conceptual design, project preparation, environmental assessment, and feasibility studies besides general report writing; consultancy services for scoping missions/ fact-finding missions/ due diligence missions/ appraisal missions; construction site supervisions; operation, maintenance, and project management; capacity building and training of organizations and public authorities.
