Chamunoda is a visionary leader with over 15 years of distinguished experience in emergency preparedness, disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, meteorological forecasting and anticipatory action programs in conflict and protracted crises. He has pioneered transformative community-driven interventions and strategic policy initiatives, significantly enhancing the resilience of societies in conflict and crisis settings.

Renowned for his unwavering commitment to humanitarian principles, Chamunoda has led life-saving operations, optimised emergency logistics and self-reliance activities and forged powerful partnerships with national institutions, global organisations and donors. His adeptness in resource mobilisation has driven impactful, people-centred solutions, turning challenges into opportunities for sustainable growth. With expertise in international frameworks such as Disaster Risk Reduction and the Paris Agreement, Chamunoda facilitates strategic collaborations and guides innovative anticipatory action protocols.

He is pursuing a PhD in Climate Change and Sustainability at Euclid University. He also holds an MSc in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management from the University of Leicester, Post Graduate Diploma in Meteorology and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Statistics (double major).
