• A long experience in understanding the evolution of multi specific fish stocks and ecosystem modelling, organising data collection for fisheries statistics, fish stock assessment, evaluation of potential catch with various non-linear statistical methods.
• Working experience of very various kinds of aquatic ecosystems: tropical man-made lakes (Burkina Faso, Zimbabwe, Ivory Coast, Sri Lanka, Thailand), Flood plains (Ogooué in Gabon, Ouémé in Bénin, Alaotra humid zone in Madagascar) East African Great Lakes (Victoria, Kivu, Tanganyika, Burundi sector), riverine environment (Madagascar, China, Mekong River), littoral marine areas (Senegal, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, deltaic zones (The Mekong Delta), brackish water bodies (West Africa),
• A strong experience in aquaculture systems and development, including integrated aquaculture and cage culture in open waters, fish genetics and fish diseases.
• Good knowledge procedures and regulations of various donors
• Fluent in both French and English.
