Bringing over 16 years of experience in international development, I am a leader in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL). With expertise in data analytics, dashboarding, performance management, and strategic program design, I have led complex projects funded by major donors, focusing on agriculture, food security, market systems, climate resilience, labor rights, migration, human trafficking, and modern slavery. Career highlights include designing MEL frameworks and directing research on climate-induced trafficking. My responsibilities have included supervising MERL and program implementation teams and managing multi-stakeholder engagements, demonstrating a strong track record in enhancing program impact and fostering stakeholder collaboration.

Project Experience and Donor Exposure

I have collaborated with international donors such as the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Agriculture, European Union, USAID, and FCDO. My involvement spans project implementation, technical assistance, results measurement, evaluations, and capacity building in thematic areas including agriculture, food security, market systems, migration, climate resilience, and anti-trafficking. I have worked across diverse projects at both regional and national levels, primarily conducted in Bangladesh.

Sectors and Geographic Focus

With a background across food security, climate resilience, labor markets and employment, trade, monitoring and evaluation, migration, human trafficking, modern slavery, and agriculture, I have held senior roles such as Senior Manager in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning. My responsibilities included overseeing strategic implementation and stakeholder engagement. My interdisciplinary expertise spans digitalization in agriculture and program design, with a strong focus on enhancing livelihoods and protection systems.

My geographic expertise is rooted in Bangladesh, where I have collaborated extensively with national and international stakeholders to drive sectoral and cross-sectoral development initiatives. This experience has provided deep familiarity with local governance and cultural dynamics, particularly in agriculture, food security, climate resilience, and migration. Long-term assignments have also involved working closely with national systems and building cross-sectoral partnerships, underscoring my region-specific expertise in Bangladesh.

Languages and education

With language competences in Bangla as a native speaker and fluency in English, these skills have been extensively utilized in professional settings in Bangladesh, including in-country work and collaboration with multilingual teams on international development projects. I hold an MSc in Applied Statistics & Data Science from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh, and a Master in Development Studies from Islamic University, Bangladesh. I also earned a Master of Commerce in Management and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Management from National University, Bangladesh. Additionally, I am currently pursuing a Master in International Trade & Business at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, expected to complete in 2026.
