About
More than 20 years of Program Management with extensive experience in project technical oversight, implementation, partnership, capacity strengthening, and peacebuilding and social protection. He has ability to manage diverse teams in politically charged and sensitive environments. This experience includes 12 years in Rwanda, 7 years in Central African Republic (CAR) and almost two years in the Republic of Congo (RoC) leading partners and stakeholders in sensitive and complex conflict settings to implement successful peacebuilding, social cohesion in post conflict recovery, human rights, gender and most vulnerable groups protection , advocacy, reconciliation, trauma healing, governance, livelihood, justice and peace, representation, and institutional strengthening.
Mr. Muyango also has extensive programming, management, technical leadership skills to coordinate and implement interventions with governments, local and international partners organizations ensuring overall project management. For the moment he is managing ongoing for USAID’s Peace activity in the Republic of Congo/Pool Department, the most previously USAID-funded Central African Interfaith Peacebuilding Partnership (CIPP), religious leaders’ institutions, and civil society organizations targeting women, youth, ex combatants, government and local authorities leaders implemented by a consortium of Catholic Relief Services(CRS), Worl vision, Islamic Relief, Aegis Trust, the Central African interfaith network in collaboration with the Ministry of Social affairs and National Reconciliation.
