Main Responsibilities and Achievements:

Serving as the technical lead in disease surveillance capacity development for the GIZ Health Project.

Advise the Project Director on the direction and content of the Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response capacity development strategy and ensure high-quality technical input from GIZ into all national policies document development in the context of One Health.

Participate in the adoption and adaptation of Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response guidelines, Developed IDSR quality management system in Southeast Liberia utilizing the agreed supervisory checklist for alignment in the implementation strategy through building capacity of surveillance staff at the county, district, health facility, and community level

Provide technical direction and oversight in the implementation of the Health System strengthening project by implementing partners.

Coordination, management, and oversight of the activities carried out by GIZs.

Support the preparation and Implementation of workshops, seminars, and other events or training.

Ensuring proper coordination and supporting the GIZ project advising ECOWAS on the region's pandemic preparedness and Prevention issues (RPPP).

Ensure capacity building for 470 Community Health workers within three southeastern counties. (Grand Kru, Maryland & River Gee).

Monitored and managed program budgets to ensure that various budget lines are carefully implemented according to agreed guidelines

Represented GIZ Health Cooperation at National health meetings and conferences

Planning and implementation of a Full-scale simulation exercise in three southeastern counties using the WHO SIMEX reference document: Maryland, Grand Kru, and River Gee) with 15% out of 30% of recommendations mitigated through action plans developed in collaboration with the National Public Health Institute (NPHIL).
