I have around 13 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) of Corporates, Institutional and Govt. funded programmes. The programme ranges from environment, sustainable and climate resilient livelihoods and community based health and socio economic development and for these programmes, I have a history of designing and implementing robust yet simple Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) system ensuring leaderships receive intelligence for strategic and programme focused decision making and establish on Theory of Change (ToC) and Programme specific Hypothesis. 

Currently with WWF - India, I am managing M&E portfolio around climate adaptation, mitigation and community resilience building through Mangrove, Wetlands and River Basin restoration, climate resilient livelihoods, infrastructure, capacity building  and governance. I assess carbon sequestration potential documenting, how Nature-based Solutions (NbS) helping in restoration of degraded ecosystem and in Agriculture practices,  enhances storage of atmospheric carbon dioxide in soils and biomass along the Biodiversity and community resilience. I also roll out biodiversity assessments and e-DNA analysis through experts and have developed understanding on possible mutual benefits for corporates and community through carbon and biodiversity credits under various ESG Frameworks.

When designing MEL systems, I focus on clarity, simplicity and coherence, ensuring it is weaving not only with program and organizational Goal but also with corporate donors ESG and carbon accounting requirements. I develop performance and impact level indicators with focus on Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV). I ensure that data and information is verifiable at source, systematically collated in compliance with leading ESG frameworks (such as GHG Protocol, SBTi, and ISO 14064), and audit-ready for standards like VERRA and Gold Standard.

Previously, at GoodWeave International, I developed and managed M&E system, developed ESG compliance based monitoring tools for ethical supply chains, supported internal quality audits to ensure streamlining of supply chain certification processes while following ISEAL Alliance Code of Good Practice and ISO 9001. I also worked with CARE India and Global fund programmes and managed programmes of different nature, scattered in 7 Asian countries.
