Tarik Tuncay has a highest-level educational background with PhD, Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Social Work. He has been working full-time at the Social Work Department of Hacettepe University (as the first and pioneering school of social work in the country) and has been working in the field of social welfare and social protection services for more than 20 years. He possesses experience in working with ministries including Ministry of Health and Ministry of Family and Social Services, public child care institutions and key UN and other transnational and international organisations defending rights of children, women and other persons in vulnerable situations. He also delivers consultancy services in various international donor funded projects focused on protection and promotion of human rights and social protection services.
