Independent International Security Specialist with over a decade of experience in counter-terrorism (CT), the prevention of violent extremism (PVE), and transnational security threats accross Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

My expertise is enriched by both HQ-level and field experience, gained through mid-level and senior officer/advisor experience with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation, NATO, the United Nations, the OSCE, and the Rome-based Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI).

I am currently available to provide policy advicing and consulting (including part-time) through:

• Delivering project reviews and evaluations (e.g. EU and international frameworks);

• Drafting and editing of policy reports, analyses, and recommendations;

• Producing targeted research & expert advice on CT and PVE-related issues; 

At present, I am particularly interested in exploring:

• The long-term global counter-terrorism implications of the Gaza crisis;

• Security risks in the Sahel and the Gulf of Guinea, resulting from armed groups activities and climate change;

• The challenges posed by Foreign Terrorist Fighters (FTFs); 

With a strong background in policy analysis, research, coordination and capacity-building, I bring a combination of analytical depth and practical insights to support decision-making, strategic planning and political analyses.

Currently based in Brussels, I am available for short-term assignments worldwide, with preference for remote and EU-based ones.
