About
With over 15 years of experience in public health, community health, and health education, I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research, one of the leading German research institutions in the field of infection biology. I hold a Doctor of Human Sciences degree (Dr. Sc. Hum.) from the University of Freiburg, where I also obtained a Master of Science in Global Urban Health.
My core competencies include epidemiology, biostatistics, health promotion, health systems strengthening, evidence synthesis, grant proposal writing, implementation research, and higher education management.
I have designed and conducted studies, analysed data, and synthesized evidence on various topics related to infectious diseases and global health, such as COVID-19, Tuberculosis, Diabetes Mellitus.
I have worked with diverse stakeholders, including academic institutions, health facilities, non-governmental organizations, and international agencies, in various settings and contexts.
My mission is to contribute to the improvement of global populations' health and well-being through
research, technical support, and evidence-based practice in mitigating impacts of infectious diseases,
non-communicable diseases, and their interaction, especially in low- and middle-income countries.
