About

I’m Medical doctor. After a Hospital Clinical experience of ten+ years, including in Neurosurgery and Neurology, I have obtained a Master and a PhD in Neuroscience (University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris VI).
A post-doctoral research and teaching position at the Laboratory of Biomathematics Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Epidemiology at the INSERM unit U-444, allowed me to broaden the scope of a variety of research themes, which gradually introduced me to new techniques of analytical biochemistry and molecular biology. This led me to specialize in Medical Biology (University René Descartes Paris V). I then worked in several Hospital Units of medical biology in Paris, including the molecular biology laboratory of Henri Mondor Hospital.
Attendance at analytical laboratories involved in Clinical Research, introduced me to the pharmaceutical industry. I joined the Medical Department at Aventis Laboratories in 2001 (Neurology portfolio) before joining the Medical Team of Solvay Pharma in 2005 (Neurology portfolio) and Abbott Products SAS in 2011, where I hold to this day the position of "Medical Manager" for North and West Africa, Central Africa, Israel and Palestine.
I also have an experience in business creation and management with Syncitium International Ltd, a company I founded in 2002 in the UK, specialized in Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs) serving several pharmaceutical companies, including Aventis France, Aventis Global PV, Pierre Fabre, Menarini and Erythech.
More recently and with the support of Abbott Laboratories, I have initiated and conducted a series of medical humanitarian projects in Sub-Saharan Africa including the Parental Education in Pediatric setting, an opportunity of working in full immersion and collaboration with local Key Opinion Leaders and Health Care Communities in this part of the world.
