Detailed Task Assigned :

• Overall in-charge of the project Supervision of the Construction Package
• Shall act as Representative of the firm
• Overall superintendence over the Resident Engineers and other experts of the construction package
• Guide, Monitor, Supervise and Control all the activities related to supervision for the construction package.
• Interact with the Project Director/EE and the other officials of the Authority
• Ensure execution of works on site as per specifications and standards.
• Continuously interact with client and the Contractor
• Review quality assurance and quality control provisions during the construction
• Identify construction delays and recommend to client remedial measures to expedite the progress.
• Determine extensions to project Completion Schedule/Contract Agreement
• Mediate and assist in resolving disputes between client and Contractor, if any
• Prepare and submit various project reports as specified in the contract
• Any other activities as required for Authority Engineer.

Key Qualifications :

I am a graduate Civil Engineer with Masters in Highways and Transportation Engineering and has over 32 years of total professional experience in the field of Civil Engineering. This includes more than 27 years of specific experience of working on a number of road/highway construction projects in various states of India. He has been involved in major roads and highways projects in various capacities involving in use of modern highway materials, latest laboratory testing procedures and bituminous mix designs. Also carried out construction supervision of both flexible and rigid pavements. Has acquired experience of working in India as well as abroad (Bhutan). He is being leading and coordinating entire road projects from the field investigation stage to construction and maintenance including complete monitoring of the progress and guiding the project teams for day to day supervision activities. He has also been responsible for contract management, review and approval of work programs, suggest modification in the methodology and sequencing of fieldwork. In my career, he has been personally involved in setting out of works, identification and approval of material sources and testing to be carried out for maintaining the quality, carried out regular inspections of ongoing and completed works, checks on the measurements and issuance of variation orders, interim payment certificates and prepared cash flow statements. He has interacted with various Government and non-government agencies in order to get clearances regarding utility relocation and rehabilitation of affected persons due to the road construction. During his services, he has been continuously involved with imparting training to counterpart, contractor’s and local staff and fully conversant with the FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
