About
Yasmina SARHROUNY is currently the Chief of Party of USAID’s FORSATY Research for Adaptation and Learning (REAL) program in Morocco, implemented by the Education Development Center (EDC). She is a governance and stabilization expert with more than 20 years of experience in promoting gender equality, supporting democratic reforms, and leading peacebuilding processes in the Middle East and Africa, including Morocco, Burundi, and Burkina Faso. Ms. Sarhrouny is adept at navigating conflict-sensitive environments and coordinating with donors, governmental counterparts, CSOs, and community leaders. She is an expert in citizen engagement with experience in empowerment initiatives for women and girls and designing and launching grants.
Ms. Sarhrouny is a Moroccan national and holds a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Women’s Studies.
