Senior Expert in Nature Conservation, Biodiversity, Tropical Forests and Climate Change  Adaptation and Mitigation. More than 40 years of experience in management, fundraising, research, training, execution and evaluation of internationally financed programs and projects in South/Central America, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia and Europe. Top position within WWF as the WWF Guianas Regional Director for 8 years (2006-2014) and with ACT as ACT Europe Director (2016-2020). Up to 4-6 short term missions per year. Strong interest and good knowledge of Neo-tropical forests, flora and fauna. Guest Professor Tropical Forests at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, and at the Adek University of Suriname.
