• Solid experience in establishing and managing emergency operations, including formulation of strategies, plans of action and reports. 
• Strong experience in coordination of a complex project portfolio. 
• Experience in conducting rapid assessments in complex emergencies and crisis contexts. 
• Previous experience from refugee/IDP-related emergencies. 
• Previous experience in cash programming/ cash for work in Africa 
• Solid experience in community mobilization 
• Experienced field work in complex emergencies in sub-Saharan rural Africa, and in challenging security settings. 
• Experienced in administration, finance, logistics and personnel management, including training, supervision, and coaching of staff. 
• Experienced in conducting rapid assessments in complex emergencies and crisis contexts.
