Have consulted for UN Women, UNFPA, Humanitarian Dialogue, The New Humanitarian, Comic Relief/DFID, Women in Peace and Security Network-Africa, University of Birmingham, among others, on gender and security reform, UNSCR 1325, women and violent extremism, sexual violence in schools, African security architectures, electoral conflict mediation, hybrid security governance.

Three-time fellow and alumnus of the Social Science Research Council Africa programmes. Have also held global research fellowships with the Nordic Africa Institute and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (NY).

Practical experience and essential skills include research, programme management, writing and copyediting, administration, team management, and advocacy.

Research interests and publications span African regional security architecture, civil society in West Africa, religious philanthropy, gender and security (diverse), and social movements.
