Supporting the implementation of nature restoration measures for sustainable farming systems

Objectives: This grant initiative aligns with the objectives of the European Green Deal, the common agricultural policy, and the EU biodiversity strategy for 2030. It aims to support the implementation of nature restoration measures within sustainable farming systems. The focus is on testing and implementing practices that enhance biodiversity while ensuring the long-term sustainability of farms and safeguarding food security. Projects will facilitate the EU Nature Restoration Regulation by assessing agricultural practices that support agrobiodiversity and ecosystem services, fostering collaborations among farmers, researchers, and policymakers to develop effective policies that restore natural capital and ensure food availability.
