Objectives: BEAM Circular is accepting applications for the Stanislaus Bioeconomy Workforce Development Fund, with a deadline of June 30, 2025. The aim is to use a $2.3 million funding pool to enhance educational programs and build training facilities in Stanislaus County, equipping students and workers for the bioeconomy sector. This is part of a $10 million investment by Stanislaus County to boost local bio-based manufacturing through the American Rescue Plan Act. The funding will support educational institutions, workforce training providers, and nonprofits in launching programs that include career pathways, internships, and fast-track credentialing, targeting economically distressed communities. Eligible projects will focus on areas like STEM education, apprenticeships, and professional development to improve job readiness in bio-based manufacturing.
