Relativo a la Mejora de Infraestructura Escolar en Centros Gubernamentales en el Marco de la Implementación del Programa Nacional de Alimentacion Escolar

Objectives: The primary objective of this grant is to improve the infrastructure of school facilities in La Guaca, San Lorenzo, Valle, specifically focusing on supporting the National School Feeding Program (PNAE) in Honduras. The project aims to construct and upgrade kitchen-storage-dining facilities and sanitary modules under SEDUC standards. Enhanced infrastructure will provide safe, hygienic spaces for food preparation, positively impacting the nutritional intake and overall wellbeing of schoolchildren. Key activities include constructing water supply systems, improving kitchens and dining areas, and ensuring compliance with national hygiene standards. Expected outcomes include a more conducive learning environment through reliable access to safe water and improved sanitation, increased food security and nutrition for students, and enhanced capability for schools to manage food service operations aligned with international safety and quality protocols. Through this project, around 26 students will have improved access to safe and hygienic facilities, contributing to better education and health outcomes in the long term.
