Call for Proposal for Civil Society Organization(s) to support empowering women through sustainable MAPs production

Objectives: UN Women seeks to empower women in the MAPs (Medicinal and Aromatic Plants) value chains in the municipalities of Malësi e Madhe, Dibër, and Bulqizë. The project aims to address structural barriers to women's economic participation, improve their access to productive resources, and strengthen their roles in decision-making and market engagement. Key services include technical expertise, mentoring, training on Good Agricultural Practices, support for organic certification, and facilitation of women's representation in producer groups. The initiative is designed to improve women's income and visibility and contribute to inclusive rural development, aligning with national strategies and CEDAW recommendations.
