Appui au Centre National du Registre de Commerce (CNRC)

Objectives: The overarching goal of the project is to enhance the transparency of Algeria's national system to combat money laundering and terrorist financing (AML/CFT) in accordance with prevailing international standards. Specifically, the project aims to implement a management framework for the Public Register of Ultimate Beneficial Owners (PRUBO) that adheres to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) recommendations. This will involve reinforcing the institutional and technical capacities of the National Center for Trade Registry (CNRC), promoting effective framework implementation, aligning with international best practices, and enhancing inter-agency coordination, thereby boosting Algeria's capabilities to prevent and identify illicit activities.
