Research and partnership hubs for a healthy society

Objectives: The grant aims to establish large-scale multidisciplinary research hubs to support people in leading healthier lives and prevent illnesses. These hubs will focus on tackling long-term research challenges in prevention, early diagnosis, and self-management of health. With a funding scope of between £37.5 million and £62.5 million full economic cost, each project can receive up to £12.5 million, funded at 80% of the FEC by the EPSRC. The initiative encourages partnerships across different sectors to advance the UK's strategic research capabilities in healthcare technologies.
