Objectives: Support the design of an AI chatbot for the social welfare system in Serbia, with a focus on cash assistance and related social welfare rights. This initiative aims to enhance public service delivery, ensuring inclusivity, accessibility, and response to user needs, especially for vulnerable populations. Through collaboration with social work experts, the project will involve mapping real-life service journeys, developing empathetic conversation flows, and ensuring legal compliance. The chatbot is expected to improve user trust, service uptake, and satisfaction, and will initially target 10% of current eligible service users.
