Industrial Design Expert for Technical Assistance for IDEA4ISTANBUL (Industrial Design Ecosystem Axis for ISTANBUL)

PwC Turkey is looking for an Industrial Design Expert for the EU funded project ‘’Technical Assistance for IDEA4ISTANBUL (Industrial Design Ecosystem Axis for ISTANBUL)’’ to be implemented in İstanbul, Turkey.

The project aims to empower industrial design ecosystem in Istanbul and neighboring cities, creating added value and enabling effective and efficient implementation of design activities to boost innovation via establishment of a catalyst hub facility.

The Key Expert 2 (Industrial Design Expert) will work on a full-time basis for a minimum number of 400 man-days during the project and generally assist the Team Leader for the realization of all activities.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, interior architecture, architecture, or equivalent field.
• In the absence of abovementioned degrees, any bachelor’s degree will be accepted together with a minimum 10 years of professional experience in the field of Industrial Design.
• A post- graduate degree (MSc or MBA or PhD degree) in a relevant area will be an asset.
• Very good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing.

General professional experience

• Minimum 12 years of working experience following the attainment of a bachelor’s degree.

Specific professional experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the field of industrial design,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in establishment and/or running and/or capacity building of an industrial design center or equivalent,
• Minimum 2 years of 3D modelling, prototyping, and testing experience,
• Trainer experience in industrial design and/or business development topics will be an asset,
• Experience in EU/International funded projects will be an asset.idil.
