Description

Provides leadership and oversight for the Marketing Project Management Team. Manages the priorities, process and task requirements associated with the completion of marketing project requests. Works closely with the Marketing and Communications leadership, other key stakeholders, and project managers to analyze, organize, schedule, advise and update staff on projects. Identifies, develops, and improves the processes and tools necessary for work to be scheduled, monitored, and completed in a timely manner.

Principal Responsibilities
• Working with both stakeholders, Marketing and Communications leadership, and other members of the Marketing Team, review and gain thorough understanding of project requests, if and how they fit into the overall brand and marketing strategy and priorities, assessing resources, staff availability, limitations, goals, etc.
• Coordinate with teams/departments for brainstorming, strategizing, and planning for campaigns, and various projects.
• Manage, plan, and coordinate project activities to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within the requested time frame.
• Organize and manage projects in the project management system (Asana).
• Create self-explanatory tasks that provide detailed instructions of an individual’s task and the scope of the project with resources provided as needed.
• Manage project priorities and strategically adjust and/or reschedule as demands change.
• Manage the Marketing’s team workload, anticipate upcoming roadblocks, and work to proactively address problems.
• Manage outside vendor and freelance contract relationships, assists in setting up MOUs, and manage the delivery of desired tasks or projects.
• Prepare monthly project reports for management.
• Provide leadership and oversight ensuring projects are being delivered against set strategic objectives, priorities and on time and on budget.
• Develop and empower staff to work efficiently and grow their skills.
• Provide leadership and coaching, and timely completion of annual and mid-year reviews.
• Pursue ongoing training, professional development for team members and self in the forms of seminars, conferences, or other venues; Pursue professional development: intentionally take part in beneficial education opportunities that result in further certification and expertise in project management.
• Manage the annual income and expense budget and other financial measures of the department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Level Specifications
• Vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a Christian commitment to serving the poor and in full agreement with FH’s Christian beliefs expressed in The Heartbeat.
• Demonstrated computer-operating skills, including proficiency in Google platforms, Microsoft Office products, and virtual technologies such as Skype and/or Zoom.
• Ability to sit/stand at a computer for up to 8 hours a day doing repetitive motions on a keyboard.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs individually and up to 50lbs as a team.
Experience
• At least 5 years of experience in marketing project management.
• At least 3 years in a leadership position managing others.
• Non-profit ministry experience is a plus.
Education/Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Project Management Certification preferred.
Language
Proficiency in spoken and written English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Supervisor Responsibilities
Directly supervises staff. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, etc.

Typically, successful candidates are hired at a salary rate up to midpoint of the range, based on relevant experience, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
