JOB SUMMARY: Using established controls, policies and procedures, and with the high level of accuracy and independence, supports the day-to-day activities of the Corporate Accounting Department.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Performs daily corporate accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and fixed assets. Ensures quality, timeliness and consistency of the information reported in the accounting system 
•    Ensures accounting processes and procedures are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
•    Performs month-end and year-end accounting activities of the US Headquarters  
•    Responsible for timely preparation of assigned balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations 
•    Responsible for post-close reporting and analytics 
•    Supports accounts payable functions including credit cards, expense reporting, cash counts, and other related activities 
•    Supports the organizational treasury functions 
•    Supports department management in responding to various internal and external audit inquiries including preparation of PBC requests, audit schedules and control narratives
•    Supports the review and enhancement of corporate accounting internal controls, policies and processes
•    Participates in projects that enhance overall productivity and functionality of the accounting department. Makes recommendations and take an active role in identifying and resolving issues
•    Prepares recurring and ad hoc analysis as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

•    Typically, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
•    Typically, 6+ years of relevant experience in accounting.
•    CPA desired but not required
Comprehensive knowledge of: 
•    General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
•    Financial Processes
•    Automated Business and ERP financial systems
•    Experience in Corporate Financial Reporting and Audit (External & Internal)
•    Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and ability to complete complex analysis and present in a maner that drives effective and accurate decision making
•    Experience with change management and/or continuous improvement
•    Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•    Ability to maintain confidential information with the highest degree of integrity
•    Must be punctual and reliable
•    Strong attention to detail and outstanding organization skills
