Description

Develop and sustain the Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards (including: ISO 9001), accreditation requirements and business requirements across the organization through existing and new procedures. Regulate, control, and improve the quality of all processes throughout the organization. Manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified. Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company. Lead the team to achieve quality management system targets for customers and business goals.

Principal Responsibilities
•    Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice capacity planning vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
•    Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Quality Management Systems (QMS).
•    Manage all external registration requirements to ensure they are met. Liaise with external bodies on all matters relating to registration.
•    Maintain and improve, in line with organizational needs, all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS).
•    Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies.
•    Update quality documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons learned from quality concerns.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Job Level Specifications

•    Demonstrated computer-operating skills, including proficiency in Google platforms, Microsoft Office products, and virtual technologies such as Skype and Zoom.
•    Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members.
•    Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
•    Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
•    Ability to sit/stand at a computer for up to 8 hours a day doing repetitive motions on a keyboard.
•    Ability to travel up to 10% of time per year in the US and internationally, to insecure countries or locations.

Experience
•    Typically, 7+ years of quality systems experience in a global organization with at least 3 years managing quality systems.
•    Prior experience in a complex, matrixed organization, with the ability to scale processes in a global, professional, service organization.
•    Detailed understanding of ISO9001.

Education/Certifications
•    Bachelor's degree required or some education with 9 years of experience listed above.
•    Six Sigma green belt certified preferred.

Language
Proficiency in spoken and written English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Typically, successful candidates are hired at a salary rate up to midpoint of the range, based on relevant experience, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
