AHT GROUP GmbH is an International Consulting Company offering Management and Engineering Services worldwide in the fields of environment, protected area management, water, agriculture, governance and waste.
For our growing business we are looking to hire a GIS/Remote Sensing Expert (m/f/d) within the Water and Agriculture Department.

Job description:
As a GIS & Remote Sensing Expert (m/f/d) you will work in a team of consultants in the areas of GIS & Remote Sensing, Monitoring and Project Management.
We are looking for motivated and committed colleagues (m/f/d), who will support us in the day-to-day management of our on-going projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Elaboration of thematic map
• Analysis of spatial data
• Design and implementation of GIS Systems for different development projects
• Design and implementation of Remote Management, Monitoring, and Verification (RMMV) Systems
• Project Management
• Technical missions in the field of GIS & Remote Sensing for ongoing projects
• Backstopping missions

Education:
University degree in a field relevant to the position.

Languages:
Excellent English language skills and French language skills.
Language skills in German would be a distinct asset.

Expertise / Profile:

• GIS
• RMMV
• Ability to work in intercultural teams and willingness to travel abroad 
• Communicate with client and donor agencies
• Proven writing, communication and presentation skills
• International working experience would be an asset
