Description

We are seeking expressions of interest from Financial Management Assessment (FMA) Experts and Procurement Capacity Assessment (PCA) Experts who are passionate, curious, and motivated by impactful and highly rewarding work. You will be enhancing your visibility with our community of recruiters and hiring managers for upcoming open roles across Tetra Tech’s diverse portfolio of exciting programs and tender pursuits.

This is an opportunity to positively impact social and economic infrastructure and improve the lives of people in the Indo-Pacific region.

The position is a home-based retainer position that is expected to require the expert to undertake travel to conduct assigned partner entity reviews on an ad hoc basis, in line with the request for services by partners and project leads.

The specific tasks and deliverables for each assignment may vary and will be detailed in the terms of reference developed for each assignment by the requesting office/unit.

We are looking for Consultants:

  • With experience in performing assessments and assessing risks related to organizational financial management and/or procurement capability and capacity of potential partner entities.
  • Ensure adherence to standard procedures and frameworks to be provided as applicable to the FMA or PCA component, including risk assessments, review procedures and preparation of reports and plans as needed, and other as required
  • To assess capacity for planning and budgeting, review of systems of accounting, procurement business process, reporting, auditing, internal controls, assess disbursement and cash flow management arrangements, and governance measures.
  • Who can consider the political, social, and institutional context in their assessments
  • Who ideally have previous experience in the Pacific region
  • With senior level experience in institutional assessment including government procurement and Financial Management Systems.
