International Advisory, Products and Systems Ltd. (i-APS) is a U.S. woman-owned and managed consulting firm. We have extensive experience in complex settings providing third-party monitoring (TPM), monitoring and evaluation (M&E), capacity building and knowledge management around the world. Our main clients are UN agencies, INGOs, nationals’ institutions, etc.

i-APS is holder of a global WFP agreement for decentralized evaluations. We did implement projects recently with WFP in Egypt, Turkey, Cambodia and Uganda.

We are planning to apply for the tender “Decentralized Evaluation OF SCHOOL FEEDING MODALITIES APPLIED IN ARMENIA from 2018 – 2023. Commissioned by WFP Country Office.  

i-APS is looking for the following position to include in the Evaluation team

EVALUATION EXPERT ON NUTRITION SECTOR

Estimate number of days – between 20 to 50 days from December 2023 to end of April 2024

Minimum qualification requirements

  • Nationality: Armenian 

  • Education: University degree in Political Science, Nutrition, Gender, Development Management or another related field

  • Experience:

    • Demonstrated at least 5 Years of programme evaluation for UN Agencies and INGOs 

    • Demonstrated at least 1 programme evaluation with UN, preferable with WFP

    • Prior experience nutrition sector 

    • Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting. 

    • Experience in gender sector and/or education sector, WFP’s School Feeding programmes, including the home-grown and food systems approaches, is highly desirable

    • Experience in reviewing/evaluating school feeding policies, strategies, and economic programmes is highly desirable. 

    • Demonstrated working experience in Armenia  and/or South Caucasus region.

  • Language: Proficiency in both oral and written communication skills in English and Armenian language

Key Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to the development of main deliverables: Inception report, methodology and tools and final report 

  • Leading primary field data collection (qualitative) and analysis
