Social Inclusion Specialist

Qualification:

• Degree and professional qualification from a recognized institution in gender studies, development studies, anthropology, sociology. or related field.

Required Experience:

• 12 years of general experience in social inclusion projects.
• 5 years of experience in infrastructure/disability and socially inclusive infrastructure designs.
• Previous experience in the education sector, particularly school designs will be highly desired.
• Experience in the Pacific region preferred.
• Provide technical and advisory support to the program implementation to promote women’s empowerment and gender equality.
• Improve evaluation methodology, documentation, and interpretation of gender-specific indicators and M&E data.
• Assess and identify potential gender-differentiated impacts as a result of project intervention.
•  Maintain a continuous commitment and strengthen gender equality capacity with staff and project partners.
• Advise staff on ways to promote women’s empowerment and gender equality through program interventions and advise on how to tailor each intervention to ensure that women can attend and participate fully.
• Serve as the program resource for gender-based questions and engage with stakeholders on gender issues being addressed by the program.
