Call for Experts  

The Cadmus Group is seeking qualified long and short-term Technical Experts for the anticipated USAID-funded Pacific Economic Growth Activity (PEG). This regional activity has an expected period of performance of five years covering the following places of performance: 1) Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu, and 2) Fiji, Kiribati, Palau, Republic of Marshall Islands (RMI), Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Nauru, Samoa, Tonga, and Tuvalu. 

The activity seeks to advance economic growth, climate resilience, and inclusive development by improving the climate resiliency of local enterprises and infrastructure; supporting local small and medium enterprises to access markets and financing; facilitating greater trade and private investment; and strengthening public financial management and domestic resource mobilization.  

Long and short-term Technical Experts will provide expertise across the range of tasks and activities anticipated under PEG, supporting core project functions or on-demand technical assistance to achieve the project’s goal and objectives. 

Cadmus is seeking professionals in the fields of:  

·       SME Development

·       Competitiveness and Access to Markets

·       Climate Resilience  

·       Trade facilitation 

·       Access to Finance 

·       Investment Facilitation 

·       Public financial management (PFM) 

·       Business Enabling Environment (BEE) 

·       Women Economic Empowerment  

·       Finance/Admin, Grants and Operations

·       Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, Learning, Adaptation

 

Minimum Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of five years’ relevant experience
  • Experience working on projects or programs funded by USAID or other international development assistance organizations in the Pacific region
  • English proficiency (written and spoken) is required.
  • Prior management/leadership experience on USAID-funded projects highly desired
  • National candidates and those with work authorization in the Pacific Islands are highly  encouraged to apply.
