Key Expert 2: Communication Expert (Cat II) - EU4CSO Ukraine

About the Project
WEglobal is seeking a qualified Communication Expert for the EU-funded project "EU4CSO - Support to EU Engagement with Civil Society Organisations in Ukraine (Phase 3)." The project focuses on enhancing cooperation and communication between the EU Delegation and civil society while strengthening the capacity of CSOs in Ukraine.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage communication activities, including planning and procurement of services.
• Support capacity development for CSOs in the fields of media and public relations.
• Facilitate communication and visibility activities aligned with EU integration-related initiatives.
• Engage with civil society and media to ensure effective outreach and messaging.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: University studies of at least 3 years in a relevant field (e.g., media, humanities, political or social sciences, PR, or journalism). In the absence of a diploma, 5 years of equivalent professional experience is required.
• Languages: Excellent written and spoken command of English and Ukrainian.
• Skills: Strong organisational and communication skills.

General Professional Experience

• At least 6 years of professional experience working in communications or public relations.

Specific Professional Experience

• At least 4 years of experience working with civil society or media communication in Ukraine.
• At least 2 years of experience in capacity development for CSOs in media or public relations.
• Experience in working on EU integration-related issues with civil society or media will be considered an asset.
• Proven experience in managing communication activities, including planning and procurement of services.

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine (with availability for missions across Ukraine, subject to security conditions)
Contract Duration: 48 months (indicative start date: 23 March 2025)

Working Days: 600 days
