Lebanese Evaluator (Food Security )

North South Consultants Exchange (NSCE) is looking for a Lebanese Evaluator for the evaluation of a food security program as part of a multidisciplinary and international evaluation team. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of evaluation experience in the development and humanitarian sectors and experience with data collection. 

Requirements:

·       Lebanese citizenship or residency

·       A relevant master’s degree

·       Strong analytical and communication skills

·       Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection methods (FGD, KII)

·       Experience in conducting evaluations

·       Knowledge of evaluation design, approaches and methodology

·       Experience in one or more of the following sectors:

o   Bash-based transfers

o   Social protection

o   Capacity strengthening

o   Humanitarian-development-peace nexus

o   Gender equality and the empowerment of women

·       Good knowledge of the Lebanese context, preferably experience with data collection in different parts of the country

·       Readiness to travel to different parts of Lebanon for data collection

·       Fluency in Arabic and English

·       Previous experience with UN agencies is a plus
