Environment Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Environment Specialist to support a project in Papua New Guinea (PNG). This position is part of a proposal application, and selection will depend on project approval.

The expert will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and mitigating potential impacts of transport projects on natural ecosystems.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• MUST BE A PNG NATIONAL
• University degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Planning, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in environmental management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental impact assessments of transport projects
• Knowledge of national and international environmental policies and standards
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and environmental risk mitigation
