Strategic Communications and Event Expert (Rwanda)

AAM Management Information Consulting Ltd. (AAM) is qualified contractor of the European Commission (EC) in the Framework Contract (FWC) SEA 2023 in LOT10. FWC is a simplified procurement procedure with the objective of fast and transparent recruiting of experts for the support of beneficiary countries.

AAM is currently looking for experts for the FWC assignment in Rwanda “2025 CSO-HR Support measures”. The project is now at the bidding phase and we are looking for experts interested in the implementation and possessing all qualifications and skills required for the positions to be proposed to the EC.

Duration: The indicative start date is 01/01/2026 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 24 months from this date.

Location: Normal place of performance of the specific assignment: Kigali, Rwanda.

Expertise required

Key Expert (Cat II, (>6 years of experience).

Number of working days: 50 days

• University degree preferably in communication, management, or related fields.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a combination of the following sectors: communications, event organization, multimedia materials and publications, or related fields.
• Language skills: Fluent in English, knowledge of Kinyarwanda and/or French is an advantage.
• Proven strong knowledge of social media and communications would be an asset.
• Experience of working on issues related to civil society and human rights would be an asset.
• Knowledge of building capacity of civil society organizations and working with human rights defenders.
• Experience in working in Rwanda and EAC region will be an advantage.
